ELTE Pol-IR Student Paper Series is an open source publication of the Institute of Political and International Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences of Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE). 

The general aim is to provide space for original research by students of the Institute. Authors of outstanding research papers (based on theses, seminar papers, or TDK/ Scientific Students' Associations papers) of 8000+/-500 words are encouraged to submit manuscripts for consideration upon calls for publication. Papers should preferably be written in English but can also be accepted in Hungarian.

Prospective authors are to provide a short abstract and a supporting letter by either their supervisor, or by one of the professors of the Institute along with the paper for evaluation. Citations should follow the Chicago author-page, in-text style. Academic honesty must be strictly maintained.

The publication may directly benefit the authors but can also provide a sample to all students for their writing assignments, TDK papers, and thesis works. Accepted papers are to stay on this website indefinitely. Copyrights remain with the authors.
