Ágnes LUX
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR

Agnes Lux holds a politicial scientist degree (ELTE University, 2005) and a law degree (ELTE University, 2010). She earned her Phd in 2018 at ELTE University, her thesis concentrated on children's rights. She is a research fellow at the ELTE Centre for Social Sciences, Institute for Legal Studies. She won the János Bolyai Research Scholarship of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences for 2023-2025 with the research topic ombudsman institutions, children’s rights and the right to a healthy environment. She worked for the Hungarian Ombudsman and was the director of child rights advocacy at UNICEF Hungary. She has worked for various international organizations, such as the International Organization for Migration, UNICEF, Terres des Hommes Lausanne.
