ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR

Short CV:

András Schweitzer holds a PhD in International Relations from Corvinus University, Budapest. His research fields are contemporary political history and history of political ideas with a focus on East-Central Europe and the Middle East. Prior to becoming senior lecturer at ELTE he had been employed as writer and editor by HVG, Hungary’s leading political-financial-cultural weekly, then worked as external researcher for the 1956 Institute in Budapest. Besides scholarly outlets and the Hungarian media he published articles in The Hungarian Spectrum and The Guardian.
