Frank T. Zsigo

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

Short CV:

Frank Thomas Zsigó was born in Toronto in 1968. He earned his B.Sc. in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Toronto in 1991, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from Syracuse University in 1995 and 2003 respectively. His fields of interest include democratic theory, political thought and minority politics. Alongside his scholarly pursuits he has worked in civic education and minority integration projects and has translated numerous academic books and articles into English. He taught at King Sigismund College in Budapest (later Milton Friedman University) from 2003 to 2019 and joined the ELTE Department of International Relations and European Studies in 2019. He has been a regular guest lecturer for the ELTE Institute of Sociology, the University of California system and George Mason University. His hobbies include canoeing, hiking and playing guitar.
