ASSISTANT LECTURER

Short CV:

John Szabo is an Assistant Lecturer at ELTE’s Department of International Relations and European Studies, a PhD Candidate at Central European University’s Environmental Sciences and Policy Department, and a Junior Fellow at the Centre for Economic and Regional Studies’ Institute for World Economic in Budapest. His research generally focuses on the role of energy in social relations, especially in the context of the energy transition. Recent projects include inquiries on the impact of climate change on natural gas’ role in the European energy system and the potential role of hydrogen in low carbon energy systems.
